We are a racing and sporting cycling club based to the west of London. Our clubhouse is Staines Sailing Club, 105 Chertsey Lane, Staines where we meet every Tuesday night for refreshments and a chat at 8.45pm.
We have a full programme of sunday club runs that leave Staines Bridge at 9.15am for a social ride of about 50-60 miles with a café stop. After Christmas there is also a Training Ride from Staines Bridge covering 60-70 miles without a break at a faster pace. For off road enthusiasts there is a Saturday morning off road ride during the autumn and winter months. Every Tuesday evening in summer there is a training ride which starts from the Bishops Gate entrance to Windsor Great Park.
We have a full programme of social activities including the Club Dinner and also organise tours throughout the year to continental one day races, the Ghent 6, the Tour de France and the Pyrenees for example. We also organise an early season training camp in Mallorca.
We operate a full racing programme of road races and time trials including Thursday evening 10s in the summer where you can enter on the line and have a go!
We pride ourselves on making new faces very welcome which, we believe, is why we are a successful and growing club. If you'd like to take a closer look you are welcome to just turn up to the clubhouse or at Staines Bridge for a clubrun.
