Time Trialling Report
Tuesday 14th June

Farnborough and Camberley 10 Mile Time Trial (11th June 2011)

Nic Stagg produced a fast 21 minute 54 second ride to take third place in this event. The winner was Nicholas English (AW Cycles) who recorded 19.55, a really outstanding ride on a windy day. This gave him an unusually large margin of victory, for a short distance race, of 1.39 over runner up Gawie Nienaber (Farnham RC) who did 21.34.

Unfortunately for the Hounslow there was no team prize - if there had been, the club would have taken it comfortably with strong supporting rides from Stuart Stow who took the tenth place with 22.58 and Paul Innes in twentieth place with 23.44.

Other Hounslow rides came from Dave George, 24.18 and Jo Wells, 25.40. Paul Holdsworth suffered a puncture and did not finish.

The event took place on the A31 Farnham - Alton course and attracted 67 entries.
